Days 20 - 22 / Aug. 18, 19, 20
On Sunday, we left Anchorage and drove south to Tok, crossing back into Canada. The weather was great that day but the last two have been cold and wet. In Tok, we stayed at a nice bed and breakfast. In the morning, we got to talking to the folks there and the owner is from Romania, another couple from Israel were spending 4 months in the US, and 3 more guests were German; quite the international group! Nights are getting down into the 30’s and it snowed on the mountains outside Haines Junction where we spent last night. This morning we drove to Whitehorse which only took a couple hours and hunkered down in the Sternwheeler again and relaxed out of the weather. Had a great dinner at Klondike Rib and Salmon and will be heading for Jade City tomorrow. We need to do a little grocery shopping on the way because they have lodging with kitchenettes but no restaurants. Should be quaint π

And yet more…
Yep, more…
And last scenery pic on this stretch…

The front of the B and B and our filthy truck
Took this on my walk in the woods by the B and B; the leaves are just beginning to turn.
There are so many glaciers, I get confused!
